Question:

Young women's magazines?

Up until a few months ago, I was an avid reader of both Dolly and Girlfriend magazines and made sure never to miss an issue. Nowadays, I feel both are too immature for me and I'm looking for something that feels, and looks, more grown up. I'm so sick of reading stories about underage drinking, drugs, unwanted pregnancies and all that jazz. I'd prefer a magazine that focuses on the REAL issues: the war in Iraq, whaling, fair trade, poverty, global warming and other issues such as these. I'd still like to read the celebrity gossip and perhaps a few real life reads and some fashion, but I'd love something that caters to women who are too old for Dolly and Girlfriend but don't desire reading mags such as Cosmo and Cleo, which largely focus on s*x and fashion. Where can I find such a magazine - all my searches are proving fruitless and I'm positive there has to be something on the Australian market for a young woman such as myself. Please help - 10 points to best answer!
