  1. Yes, due to the information age, better uses and comprehension and assesability to technology. During the Dot com boom there were more millionaires made overnight than any other time in the history of this country. Then there is the ability to just send and recievs info more redily, work from home ( maternity leave, illness, or short term dissability). All of these things provide for better choices which ultimately lead to a better life.

  2. that is one good topic, itz a general statement and both sides of the coin can be refered to !!! letz break it down into simpler terms,- the disadvantages and advantages hhmmm...

advantages wud be- the younger generation wud hev an easier life, modern technologies, luxeries, etc if compared with the life of the older generation disadvantages-while in the older generation, there was the presence of social respect, honour, generousity, cultural vows and beliefs', informal laws and more time for the family to work together but in the youngr generation- there wud be no such thing or will slowly dissappear !!! hoping u get wat I am tryin 2 say ...

  3. Parents always try their next generation a better standard and higher education at the cost of their toil even. They always are keen to safeguard their next generation from any kind of hurdles they faced in their childhood. This is the most important part of your debate.

Technological up gradation throughout the world made it beneficial to the newer generation to learn more and fast with newer methods of achieving accuracy.

Due to tinier family size, per head expense capacity of a family has gone up substantially helping better standard of living with improved purchase power.

Trend of upward mobility always have been with accelerated speed in the terms of wealth and education also.

You need to narrate these thrust points with some social examples to win over others.

  4. your sort of in a tough spot, because i believe some of the most recent statistics actually suggest the negative is true currently.

However decent points to make in your argument.

    1) there are likely to be technological advances that can improve the quality of life incrementally.

    2) especially in the case of families where individuals begin to go to college, the probability that their children will go to college will be high. As peoples standards of living tend to improve the farther they go in the educational sphere, this has a positive effect.

    3) if you believe and argue in any stance regarding upward mobility, its a pretty common assumption that when people begin to accumulate wealth, it becomes easier to continue to do so
