Youngest Girl Ever Pregnant?

O.k. I heard the youngest girl to ever get pregnant was a five year old. So two questions: 1- Is she still alive? and 2- How can she possibly br pregnant at five, because the youngest a girl can be when she gets her period is 8 or 9.

Lol, I kno this sounds really dumb but I was watchin Maury one day and a gurl was on there who was like 8 and her period had started wen she was 5....Shed never gotten pregnant but shed had s*x be4. Her name was Lina Medina and it was back in 1939. She had a 6 pound boy- by c-section. Her Father was put in jail for suspicion of incest. Her period started when she was 3 years old.

Line Medina. No she is not still alive. It was possible because she had been getting her period ever since she was three. She had fully developed female organs and was apparently raped by her father.

Actually, girls a lot younger than 8 can get their periods.  It mostly happens in obese white girls.  I'm not trying to be racist, but that's what the article I read said on the subject.  (Besides I'm white as a sheet)  Their bodies think that they are ready for puberty, so they start.  I think the youngest girl detailed in the article was in kindergarten.

I don't know about this particular case but I'd doubt the girl and her baby are both alive.  Either the baby would have been aborted (most likely) or the mother would have died in childbirth.

... no there are some rare conditions in which a girl can develop prematurely and go through puberty at a very young age even starting at birth.

im not sure if shes still alive.. this was in the 1930s.. supposably it was her father that had sexual relations with her.

A girl i used to know's aunt got her period when she was 6 so it seems like it would be possible! That is crazy though!!!!

1. I don't see a death date on her wiki page, so I am assuming she is still alive, the son she delivered died in 1970.  Remember this was back in 1939 in Peru.

2.  She had what is called precocious puberty, very rare under the age of 5 but not completely unheard of.

Her name is Lina Medina, she had a son Gerardo, named after the doctor that helped deliver him by c-section, and then had another son in 1972.
