Youngstown state university?

Question

im going there next fall and im living on campus...do you think there will be anything to do in my spare time? I mean im a sport fanatic so ill go to some of the sport games but other than that i dont know what to do for fun. is there parties there? what should i do for fun?

The city has recently undergone changes to beautify the downtown area and become more student friendly with cafes such as Rosetta Stone, Cedars, and the one in the Butler Institute of Art Museum. (forget the name).  There is Mill Creek Park for some free concerts, and the Chevrolet Center for hockey, concerts and other shows. Nearby Canfield, Boardman and Poland have some really nice pubs.

hey.  i used to visit youngstown all the time, so i can tell you that there is almost nothing to do there.  there are a lot of parks to go to,  and a few bars and restaurants, but for the most part the city is dead.  just go to frat parties or other school parties
