time the selection committee seeks Younis Khan to become part of the national side, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mohsin-c77587 Khan is not given the clearance by the PCB.
Younis Khan has now admitted that he has indeed received a notice from the PCB. However, the notice has simply asked him to meet with the chairman of the PCB Mr Ijaz Butt who wishes to discuss his exclusion from the Pakistan side.
Younis Khan has agreed to meet Mr Butt, however his future seems uncertain. Mr Butt has been under severe criticism and scrutiny following his decision to keep Younis Khan on the sidelines, and many people are now terming it as a personal vendetta between
the chairman and the cricketer. It is believed that Younis refused to apologize to the chairman of the Pakistan cricket board, for he said that he had done nothing wrong to render an apology.
The rest of the players have since been part of the team, since all of them apologized to the emperor. However, Younis has been excluded from the squad despite the lifting of the ban four months back.
"I was expecting a lot more in the letter but it just asks me to meet the chairman and I have no problems doing that. I think in the next two or three days the chairman will give me time and I will meet him," Younis told reporters in Lahore, where he is
playing in Pakistan’s nationalT20 tournament.
Younis could have been issued a show cause notice had he refused to meet with the board. It is imperative to mention that selector Mohsin Khan had said that he was keen on selecting Younis Khan for the squad against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/South-Africa-c757 however he was not cleared
by the PCB.
Commenting on his future, Khan said, “Who does not want to play for his country? But I cannot say anything about my future at this stage, until I have my meeting with the board chairman.” The veteran batsman said.
