  1. I don't think so. No wonder my eyes hurt when I'm on the computer and I get a bad headache. The light does hurt and what ever it is they need to fix that even if is not the same light. I think sunglasses are a great idea. I don't know how you could fix that. Why has the computer companies not addressed this? OPENLY?

  2. Yes... that's why all the computer programmers from the 60's have all gone blind.  It's also the reason that anybody who works in front of the computer gets a tan - some even get skin cancer.

{edit} Oh, c**p... I've gone blind in one eye and the other one is failing... too much monitor usage... oh if I'd only paid attention to the warnings!

  3. Use your common sense.

Do you think smart people would invent a computer monitor to make people blind and get law suits from the victims relatives.

If your computer screen hurt your eyes. You need to tune down the brightness using the buttons below the monitor.

  4. Of course not , there are no UVA or UVB rays coming from your monitor.

There are no other dangerous rays coming out either...that's why there isn't a lead suit and special goggles sold with every monitor.
