Your Help Would Be Appreciated.?

Question

I will be going to a college soon I am 17 and there will be loads of new people there.

My Question is that how do I get people to come to me rather than me going to them?

that's hard.  You should normally introduce yourself.  Let's see....try to make a nice facial expression, smile and look curious.

if everyone waited for people to come to them then noone would have any friends.

put yourself out there. its college, youre meant to have heaps of fun.

do you have a roommate? start there. ask if you can hang out with them.

the thing is, everyone is in the same situation as you. noone really knows anybody so chances are people will be approaching you all the time. just smile and look friendly.

let people know that you are a warm, and friendly person. and introduce yourself first, so ppl dont think that u dont want any friends. and dont be shy! =)

you don't you only get back what you give out friendships got to be a two way thing

Be yourself X2 - Whatever your hobbies or interests are, pursue them in groups, clubs, or performing in public etc.

Be yourself concentrated - Don't put on an act or lie about yourself to make you more or less.

Look yourself - If you're very attractive or carry any visual markers (tattoos, goth clothing) then you are interesting without moving a finger.
