  1. Looks like a really cool (not to mention easy!) solution.  At just under $29 per foot, that doesn't sound out of line to me.  I can't imagine anything else that would work like this, that wouldn't cost way more.

    Very inventive, I think.  Enjoy!

  2. I too am contemplating putting up a divider in my small high-ceilinged studio/loft apartment. Your divider looks pretty good. Does the color coordinate with what you already have? It looks pretty durable and the "no drilling" part is great.  However, $1,000 seems excessive. If you've already purchased it, use it. Is it substantial enough to block out or diminish noise?

  3. I think this is a wonderful, creative solution for your privacy needs.  Do you need all 35' ... or is that what's being sold and they won't break it down to smaller sections?

There are other ways to make "soft walls," but it may wind up costing you almost as much and not provide as much of a sound buffer.  For instance, you could use ceiling-to-floor draperies (hung from the ceiling).  This offers some additional flexibility, as panels can be pulled together to create walk-throughs.  Floor screens can be used, bookshleves, etc., but I think what you're looking at will be just great!

My only word of caution: think about how "office like" your home might feel with this type of wall system.  It might be a non-issue, but I thought I'd point it out.

    Good luck ~
