Your Opinion on Liberals.?

Question

Liberals, I honestly don't like the way that they think. What is your opinion? If you are a liberal, don't be angry, but rather, in a civilized manner, explain why you are that way.

As a conservative, I believe that liberals are, for the most part, good people. I also believe that liberals and conservatives both have the best interests for the nation at heart. I further believe that liberals and conservatives generally have the same overall objectives that they want to achieve - the difference is in the details... or, more simply, the ways that conservatives and liberals want to achieve the same goals are different.

As an example, liberals support "universal health care." Conservatives support making health care more affordable for everyone. This is generally the same goal - everyone gets health care. Just a different way to get there.

they have great intentions but they're out of touch with reality. they ignore the truth that people are inherently evil.

I would never be rude to liberals but I do like to debate with them. The biggest thing for me, is that I like "less Government" and they want "more". I prefer to run and manage my own life, based on the ideals of our founding fathers.
