My NSW team, I picked Lyon @ centre because he one of the best defensive backs which will help against the star studded QLD backline, plus he plays his best footy in that posistion. Orford got the nod at no.7. I feel he is the most consistant out of all contenders, i was leaning towards Gidley but then that would leave no spark off the bench as Farah is injured. I decided Quinn @ wing just because the sheer agression he brings to the table and that's what defines origin and Craig Bellamy wants him in the team. Luke Bailey is in doubt through injury. If thats the case NSW would have to bring in a O'Meley or similar type player.

With Queensland I picked my halves combination with the belief that Lockyer will not play. and JT is a former 5/8 while Prince is a fuly fleged half. I know that the QLD bench is pretty skinny in the props department but through interchanges they have players like Myles and Webb to cover, so that's not any big deal. Another thing it said that Bowen is also in doubt, If that's the case I would add another prop to the bench forcing the no.9 to have to play the full 80.
