i designed some cartoon characters and would like to see them in a cartoon. i am looking for someone who can do the animation. they are cool characters and i hope that they can take off and bring in money one day so if interested or know someone who might be let me know

Ah, I have good news and bad news:

BAD: When you have characters you just love and you want to see them on screen, you get so excited! Unfortunately, you can't have someone do it for you unless they get paid. People don't want to do all the work for free for some stranger. You would get all the credit as well. That's not very fair, right?

Most people who make graphic novels, manga, or comics have to do it all themselves in the beginning. Yuu Watase, a very famous Japanese artist, had to do everything herself in the beginning. Even now, she doesn't have many assistants. She does a lot of it herself. That's what being an artist is about.

GOOD: Art... learning it is hard work, but it totally pays off in the end! There's a website called Deviant Art that lets you post your comics and animation online for everyone to see and critique. That's your first step! Practice working on the animation yourself with Flash or Windows Movie Maker.
