At the Coral Romford Greyhound Stadium, the top dogs always have the advantage in each 400m race. Your The Tops was one of those top dogs, as he topped five fierce competitors to win the
A2 race.
Coming out of trap six, Your The Tops (9-2) moved quickly away from the pack, and went wide. He always led, and went on to win the race with a time of 24.38 seconds. Hare St Hawk (5-1)
held an early pace, but bumped first. He lost 2½ lengths in the process to finish second in 24.58.
Aero Diaz the 5-2 favourite, moved slowly away, went wide, and was forced to check first. She went on to finish in third place with a time of 24.88 that placed her 3¾ lengths out of second
place. Fourth place belonged to Show Destiny (3-1), who bumped the run up and first to complete the race in 25.00. She was 1½ lengths out of top-three contention.
Bandicoot Roseta (3-1) finished in fifth place after bumping the run up and second. He would also baulk first en route to a 25.01 finish that was head’s length behind Show Destiny. Funcheon
Ash (5-1) bumped first and second to finish in 25.27. He was 3¼ lengths out of fifth place.
Topsy Turvy (6-1) turned the competition upside down with his close win in the A1 race that was held later on. He went wide from trap six, challenged third, and led near the finish line
to claim the victory in 24.74. Black Eyed Jack (7-2) moved quickly away and lead near the finish line. He would go on to match the winning time of 24.74, which was a shoulder behind the champion.
Already Gone, the 7-4 favourite, had some trouble in this race, as he bumped first, second and halfway. He lost 3 ¾ lengths as a result, completing the race in 25.04. Jadies Dancer (6-1)
bumped first and baulked halfway to finish in 25.05. She missed the top three by a shoulder’s length.
Fifth place was claimed by Rash Dilemma (7-2), who was handy at second and third. His time of 25.09 placed him a ½ length behind Jadies Dancer. Bringing up the rear was sixth-place finisher
Glossy Surface (7-2). After bumping first and baulking second, she finished in 25.27, 2¼ lengths  out of the number five spot.
Coral Romford Greyhound Stadium will be the site of more greyhound races on Friday, 12 November. The evening begins with an open race at 19:30.
