So i was orignially thinking about the Burton Custom. But i then found the Supermodel it sounds more of a board for me. I want a board that can carve very nicely when i free ride and that can handle powder. But i also want a board that i can go in the park with too. I just like to do jumps pretty much. Maybe learn a 180 off a jump or just jump and fly through the air. Acording to burton desption of it. it sounds like its a free ride board and a freestyle board. How ever I want a board that has flex becuase the one i have now its really stiff and i dont like it. I want some more pop which i think the supermodel offers. it has a carbon I beam for more flex but still is good for free riding i guess. But anyway. I weight about 115LBs and im 5ft and 4 inches. It says the 155 board takes 105-155Lbs. But im kinda boarderline for this board. But i need a board that will hold my Medium size bindings. the 152 takes small bindings. So will the 155 board be too big for me. I have a 151 now.

  1. The supermodel is pretty much just for powder dude, not for freestyle at all, Definetly go with the custom. But even that is not very flexible.  You want to get a board that goes up to your chin. Id say the custom will be the one for you, I own a custom and its great in the park and can handle any powder i ride in.

  2. If your weight is in the range, you will be OK. If you have wider feet or are still growing, I would go with the larger board especially if you are used to a very stiff board. A longer board with more flex will still be better in the park and will give better ride on other terrain like you are used to.

If your boot width is still a problem, you could get bindings that have built in lifters which will give you more clearance in the turns.

    Good Luck
