Your experience when your first child was born?

Question

I am mainly aiming this at the guys but the ladies are free to answer.

I have always been a wild kind of guy,not wanting to settle down and not interested in kids but the day my daughter was born,my life changed forever.

Now,I do everything for her.I gave up my wild life to be with her and her mum and give her the family i never had.I just cant believe the change it had on me,and all for the better.

Before she came along,i was a bit of a h**l raiser and I suspect that lifestyle will come back at some point and bite me in the ****.

For any of you thats interested,heres a photo of my little girl and I love her to bits

I think that is so great that you are taking care of you and your little girl and your baby mother keep up the good work they need more men like you in the world. good on becoming a dad.

My husband was the same, our baby wasn't planned and he was so worried about how his life would have to change.  We actually argued a lot over it but as soon as our baby boy arrived it all changed.  He doesn't go out as much at all and wants to have another one!  He just kisses him all the time and loves him so much.  (he is now 4 months).  It was great to see the change!  Congrats to you

hi,  i think your daughter is so beautiful.  i commend you on your change.  not all guys are good as you about such a matter.  way back when, my now ex-husband still led his life of betrayal.  it hurt so very bad.  he even brought his girlfriend in my home and that was when my daughter was only 6 weeks old.  the change in you for the better, is so wonderful and i feel so happy to hear your daughter has such a great dad.  your wife is very blessed!!!  blessings to you and the family.

My husband also fell head over heels for our daughter.  He always says how amazing it is that he can have the worst day of his life, come home and see her smile and the would is all better!  Congrats!

All real men change a bit when their children come along.  Seeing my husband with our daughter is the most beautiful thing.  My husband is now worried about whats gonna happen 16 years from now and she brings a boy home cause he knows exactly what that boy will be thinking. lol  Congrats on being a new daddy, enjoy every minute of it.
