you work in europe. you can't get your wife and your 2 yr. old child from latin america.

you can give them a better future after 5 to 10 yrs. but you will lose the chance to be with them everyday and miss those precious moments.

You should equally give due importance to your family life, professional life and social life, You cannot ignore one for the sake of other. Family life is more important. Children brought up by both the parent are the best contributor to the society. Children brought up by other ways may not catch the real feelings of genuine heart.

If you cannot enjoy your present life with your wife and child, it is no good. Either you go and join your family or bring your family to Europe either way.

Money is never the answer.

If you live in a different place for even a year or two, how's that going to work?  How would you spend your free time?  It's a recipe for trouble.  Plus your wife will more than likely be angry that she has all the responsibilities of home while you're off playing.

Life's short and unpredictable... don't put the happiness of your family in jeopardy now for the thought of financial happiness 5-10 years from now.

Go home be with your family. you and they both will be happier together than apart. Money don't make people happy, togetherness does. You can find a good job right in your hometown that will be sufficiant. Good luck on your decision!

Plus kids will not get to know their dady and spend time with them, Dose not matter how many toys or money you send they will want YOU and spend time with YOU. It depends.  Would your family's needs be met living a simple life?  Would they have food and shelter all the time?  If the answer to that is no then you have to stay working at the job that does meet those needs.  If the answer is yes AND everyone would be happy with the simpler lifestyle than the answer is yes, go home.

Go home and be with your family. Family comes first no matter what! I have a little boy, and was offered a GOOOOD paying job but that would cause me to be away from home alot. I turned it down because I always wanted to be there with him, and watch him grow up. Stay out of your kid's life now, and you will miss the best years of watching a child grow up.
