i just heard on speed a story about buddy baker speaking on a radio show the other night. buddy, well known for his quotes, said:

"the great thing about kyle busch is that his wallet hasn't become wedged between his right foot and the throttle," meaning he hasn't let his monetary success slow him down any.

so what's your favorite quote about (NOT BY) your favorite driver?

i'll start: besides the one above, i like the following:

"kyle busch is the only cat i know who can go three-wide all by himself" - darrell waltrip

"busch is down there hoppin' around like a little league shortstop" - also dw

"if you think I'm good, just wait until my younger brother gets here." - kurt busch, before kyle moved up to the big leagues.

so what's your favorite quote about YOUR favorite driver?

"You hit me again & I'll put the son of a b***h through the wall for you." ~ Dale Jarrett to Jeff Gordon after Gordon hit him causing DJ to spin out. (It was back in 99 when DJ won the championship. I have it on tape so I can proove DJ said that.)

  3. Gordon is not my favorite driver, but I've always loved this quote about him from Bo Jackson.

"Way too much thinking for me."

Kevin Harvick when asked: Looking at how the Chase has sort of played out here and you're sort of talking about how maybe luck is going to play a big factor into it. Is it possible that you could sort of take maybe that factor out of it by points racing, take the luck factor out of it by points racing, and conceivably if you're points racing you'd probably be leading the Chase right now? Again, it might be easier said than done, so I'm wondering your take on that.
