My favourite is "Hey Diddle Diddle" I just love the fun and imagination to it.

Does 'Wheels On The Bus' count as nursery rhyme?

If yes then:

I love it cos the kids get really excited, the repetitiveness of it means even shy children often give it ago...and the amount of children who i care with speech and language difficulties love it-it has helped from out the first words in so many of my kids...and you can adapt it to have so many extra bits that it never gets boring!!!

It seems humorous that these three men would get stuck in a tub floating out to sea together. Seems irratic and makes no sense so stimulates the mind-and yet when you think about it it is so silly for an adult to be able to be entertained by such a thing. lol
