I left England years ago but I would have to say my favorite road is the small winding road that leads me home to my parents house.

gotta be the M6 toll ... it's horrendously expensive but so relaxing ... reminds me of what the motorways were like when they were first built

The A82 between Tyndrum & Ballachulish, through Glencoe. Its absolutely gorgeous.

More locally to me, my favourite road is the narrow road between Osmotherley & Helmsley through Hawnby. Great fun on the Moorsbus, especially when a certain driver is driving...

the A169 over the North Yorkshire Moors from Malton to whitby, never had so much fun driving along a road as that
