  1. Coca steamboat is my favourite. The outlets are located in 1 Utama, Subang Parade, KL Plaza or Bangsar Shopping Centre.

  2. Go to Cameron Highlands where most steamboats consist of vegetables.

My favourite is seafood and tomyam steamboat.

    .

  3. Umm.. most steamboats are largely seafood, Frances.

However, there are some shabu-shabu restaurants in KL. I know shabu-shabu is Japanese, but it is a steamboat, of sorts. There is one in the Cineplex, next to The Curve shopping centre.

Alternatively, there are Korean buffets (which features a griddle AND steamboat at your table) where you have your choice of raw meats, vegetables and seafood and you can cook it at your table. A decent one is Seoul at Plaza Pantai, near Bangsar.

Hope I was of some help. Good luck and I hope you enjoy your visit!

  4. i love steamboat,especially during cold weather.

Usually i will go to Seri Kembangan to have my steamboat.

It's a "all you can eat" shop with only RM20. So if you do not want to have seafood, you can choose other food you like.

And i also heard of Shabu Shabu which is also very nice, at SS2. you may go there and try out. The price is also reasonable.

  5. You should try Coca Steamboat Restaurant. They are one of the best steamboat restaurants that I have eaten. They are almost all over Asia including Singapore and Malaysia. They have many other ingredients on the menu beside seafood though their fish glue paste and chilli sauce are #1.
