Your first cup of coffee, what was it like?

ok, i have just had my first cuppa'joe lol and it is..... HEAVEN! YAYAAYAYAAYYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY...

AND I THINK IT'S GOT A LIL TO MUCH CAFFENE OR W/E BUT I LIIIIIIIIIIIIIKKKKKKKKKESSSSSSSS IT!!!!1111111111111111111!!!!!!!1

not hlaf as bitter as i imagined..

so what was your first cup of joe like?

I had my first cup of coffee with sweetbread when I was about 10.  It was great.  I've been drinking it ever since

At first I didn't like it that much....tasted like bland hot water with a wierd flavor.  But now I'm hooked.

i thought  it was gross, but it was just straight black. i took one drink and put it down. the taste stayed in my mouth forever. it sucked.

the only coffee related thing i'll drink now is java chillers from sonic. =]

I was like nine. I put lots of cream and sugar in, so it tasted basically like a slightly bitter milkshake. I was in luv. ^_____^

However, now I can't stand it with sugar - makes it syrupy, ick! Only Splenda or it's off-brand clones. ;)

I drank my first cup of coffee when I was five. It had lots of milk and some sugar so it was yummy! I loved pouring the milk into it and watching it swirl around the coffee like a mini Milky Way galaxy.

Although I don't drink it everyday, I love my coffee!!!

Man I dont really remember my first cup.  I was probably 3 years old... i have some really old memories of drinking the stuff.. all my life.

I was working midnight shift and my co-worker made it for me very carefully, with fresh coffee and lots of cream and sugar. It was horrid.

My first cup was an instant coffee and it tasted awful.

I didn't try coffee again until a few years later and when I did it was amazing!

My first and only cup of coffee in my whole life was scalding hot but I was so drunk I don't even remember anything else about it except for a blistered tongue for 3 weeks. Haven't touched the stuff since. That was in 1991.

Well, I have to admit I was hesitant to drink it, but after trying it for the first time I was hooked forever.  Now I can't imagine having a morning without ol' Joe in a BIG mug.

well the first time i ever tried it i was really little and i spat it out and screamed "EWWWW"

ok, i LOVE coffee.

If i have coffee i only ever drink one brand.

Its a powdered coffee but it is the only coffee not to have the zingy aftertaste.

its called "Mellow Birds".

Its a very creamy coffee and i usually put about a spoon and a half of it in. oh, and it has to be about 1/4 milk :D

Couldn't stand mine. Didn't finish the whole cup. After a while I was able to drink it with cream and sugar. In later years, I learned to appreciate it without the extras.

But yeah, the first cup was not pleasant.

i am vietnamese and we have, arguably, one of the strongest variety of coffee, "cafe sua da".  It is an iced milk coffee.  I can't say i remember my first cup of coffee, so i'll have to make up this story.  I once once had a kitty cat that was up all nights and I couldn't get to sleep.  My mother told me that if I spiked her water with a little 'cafe sua da' that she would go bonkers throughout the day and pass out at night.  Being a mother's boy, I followed her instructions.

She did not know what she was talking about as the cat stayed up 3 days straight and I did not sleep well at all.  I actually don't drink coffee but that is my first fabricated memory of my cat's first coffee experience.  You can find 'cafe sua da' pretty much at any vietnamese restaurant especially noodle shops.

i LOVE coffee its so frickin good especially when you dip chocolate coated buscuits/cookies in it :p god thats the ultimate on a cold rainy day haha you HAVE to try a latte next, there out of this world haha
