Your friend ditches you for some guy..then what?

My best friend recently found a new guy interest. That's great for her, but she constantly ditches me to hang out with him. How can I tell her that what she is doing is leaving me in the dust while still maintaining our friendship?

She doesn't sound like much of a friend, much less a best friend.  Friendships take work.  If she doesn't appreciate your friendship then she doesn't deserve you as a friend does she? Move on honey!

Boy/girlfriends come and go but a good friendship is in it for the long haul. Ask her politely or even bluntly to stop bailing on you because it is rude. Besides if she makes her romantic interest her number one priority he may get freaked out in in the end that she gives up everything for him and dump her,

My bestfriend did that to me during our yrs in high school. It was out last yr and she started dating the high school captain. We were all friends so it was cool but we would go to class and she would sit with him and his friends leaving me to sit by myself which i did.

I was angry and hurt but i never showed it. I just hung around my other friends and when high school finished one day she came up to me and apologised for leaving me out. It was very sweet and she is still my best friend today
