Your living situation - what is your family like?

who do you live with? do you have a "normal" family or an unconventional family? do you like your living situation? do you secretly wish there'd be someone else, or one less person living with you?

my living situation: i live with my sister siobhan, her husband darius and her 5 year old son constantine but we call him stan and 6 year old son janson and my 2 1/2 yr old girl martine who was call marty in a huge yellow house on a dirt road. the house was my grandparent's but they died and left it to my sister and i to divide the costs... but we decided to live in it. i love my family and wouldn't change anything about us.

I live with my son who is 5 in a home I bought 2 years ago.  It's 1700 sq. feet and in  a nice neighborhood.  I never married my son's dad and he is married to my son's step- mother now.  My boyfriend, whom I love dearly, stays with me often and I would like for him to move in with me, but I'm not going to ask him.  Maybe we'll get married and we can get a bigger house. I also have a dog who is cute but attached to me at the hip.  He only likes me.

I'm 26. I have a nice career, nice boyfriend, new apartment, new furniture and a nice car. I am the second daughter of four and my parents have been married for 30 years.

I am from Africa, but born and bred in UK. I have only my family (me -14, my two brothers-10 and 12 and my parents) then i have my mums cousins familys (her, her two sons - 10 and 9, her two sisters - her sister is engaged) and I have my dads cousin (her, her husband and her three kids) And  my dads other cousin (one man) my dad has fallen out with his cousin so i just have my family and my mums cousin. I have plenty of family freinds, like alot alot but its not the same because on xmas last year all i had was my immediate family and my two uncles. one blood, one wasnt. I wish I had mroe family like a whole roost. You know the fun, kind aunt who treats you and stuff like that and the rude strict uncle who is old and like just lots of different characters. I have all that in Africa but i only go there twice a year and even then i am not THAT close to them. I wouldnt of felt like that if my dad didnt fall out with his cousin on his side because they have a daughter my age and i could of spent this summer sleeping round their new hosue and going out with her and stuff.

I live in an old warehouse which I share with my brother to whom I have to be extra polite as this is the pack we have and it is much nicer than being grumpy or honest but sometimes I forget and he does too ! Have just built a new bathroom with an extra large bath so I would not change the way I survive as I can drown my sorrows........in warmth, bubbles, floating candles and floating bubbles.....

I live with my father, mother, and 27-year-old-brother. I'm 19, and my dad wants me to live at home while going to college, which I'm just fine with because he gives me all the freedom I need and it saves me a ton of money. I would change one thing though: I hate that my mother lives there. She's delusional, and thinks all these horrible things about my father, his family, friends and business associates that simple aren't true (They're all drug dealers and out to harm her, etc etc). She always thinks that my dad is trying to harm her as well as my brother and I. And she has no respect for my private space and belongings (like she always sneaks in my room and steals my very expensive shampoo because she thinks my dad puts dyes in the shampoo in the bathroom). I reality my dad works very hard to support us and I appreciate everything he does. I hate living with her, it makes my life h**l!
