Drinking water is abundant however fruit and vegetable sources have now dried up. Fishing in the shallows has also ceased.

Would you kill and eat one of your companions?

  6. You would pretty much have to. To guard against rotting before you could finish the whole carcass, would probably need to preserve the surplus like beef jerky so it wouldn't go bad.

  10. Hmmm... Well if there's enough clear water for there to be lots of vegetation then I have to say I'd try and eat that for as long as possible and try and sort some sort of arable patch...

    Wouldn't really want to go and eat someone...as once they've gone then there wouldn't be anything else to eat would there? So all you'd gain is a few days.

    As there's no fishing in the shallows...how about venturing further afield? Track down some other fishes????  

  11. I think that would be quite unnecessary - better to lop of a leg instead - if you killed them then you couldn't eat the whole body before it started rotting, so it would be a waste.

    Always be practical.

    Seriously, you can go for weeks without food before there is any permanent damage. I would wait a bit.

    How about trapping birds, eating insects or other animals.

  14. No. What's the point? After you finish up all the Gilligan on a stick, you're going to die anyway. I'd prefer to leave this world without resorting to cannibalism.
