  1. My native tongue is Welsh, but I can speak English and am hoping to become proficient in Spanish soon.


  2. english is my first language, but i speak fluent italian because half of my family is italian and i ived there for four years and had to learn it, now i keep it up with my family and friends.i also learn german, and this year will be my fifth(at school) i started french at school also i have done that for three years, along with latin which i have been doing for the same amount of time.i started japanese privately and i have had 16 one hour lessons so far.i am actually american and italian (mostly) but live in england.

  3. I am from Minnesota my Language is English. I learned Spanish and am also married to a Mexican guy. We are having our third child and when I met my husband he didn't even speak English. So exciting. I am very fasinated with that culture and enjoy speaking Spanish alot.

I live in America, but I can speak, read, and write Polish as fluently as I do English.[: I was the first generation of my family born in America, everybody else is from Poland so at home I'm immersed in the culture at home &+ during the school year on Saturdays I have Polish school which is basically the same thing as regular school except it's all in Polish and you learn about like Poland's history, proper grammer, reading and writing blahblahblah. soyeahppp.

  6. I'm originally from New York and my native language is English, but as for the others--it's odd to describe...

    At home I've always been exposed to Sicilian and Neapolitan, and to a lesser extent Italian.  I can understand them well, and now I'm studying Italian.  I studied Spanish in high school for 2 years and won a competition in it.

    I've dabbled in many other languages.  I find Portuguese and French somewhat simple to read.  I know a little bit of Romanian.  I am familiar with several different writing systems (alphabets) like Russian/Cyrillic, Greek, and also the Hebrew consonants.

  13. My native tongue isn't English, but I do speak it just as well as my native tongue Spanish - I was born in Mexico. I'm also learning French (through school - it's going on 3 years now)and Italian (I'm teaching myself because it doesn't seem as difficult with a solid background in other Romance languages), and I hope to learn to speak Romanian and Portuguese well soon.
