  1. sorry for the Republicans; I am a Democrat and I think she is the wrong choice; they are making a big deal that she is the Governor of Alaska, (There are more wild life in Alaska then human beings). They are talking about Obama having no experience, what about her?

  2. she shouldn't be because he is more experienced and she is not to tally different. why can't he pick Romney that would have been good since they both are experienced

  3. She should not be his VP.

"Virtually no conservative outlet is reporting the truth about Palin. She is not a 'reformer'--research her record: stopping bridge to nowhere claims are false--she was fully for it--before she was against it. She is under senate investigation for sorted-power misues. She raised taxes in Wassila, not lowered...still the town's budget is busted due to her mismanagement of Wasilla hockey stadium deal gone awry. She is a crony of indicted republican Ted Stevens, still through June 2008---then when she got VP pick--her web site pulled his endorsement. She was co-director of a PAC that raised funds for Stevens. Yes, she was for the 'good the good ole boy' network before she was against it. Pics of the Palin and indicted Stevens remain all over the web. How about fighting against pork?---no--she regularly lobbied congress and got more than her fair share for Alaska. Somewhat of a tyrant--or even handed? hum....she fired most staffers when she got mayor---claiming they were 'not loyal' to her (they had supported her opposition). She was almost recalled for it (town population was about 4,000 then). Does she really relate to the common person or does the family saga comes across much like a Jerry Springer show. Although, I heard a 'conservative' woman on a radio talk show exclaim 'she eats hot dogs and macaroni and cheese, just like me.' "

  4. Hmmmm, that's a tough one.

    Alaska secession

    Bad parent

    Women's rights

    Religious extremist

    Abuse of power

    Insulting campaign organizers

    etc.

Yeah, that's tough.  I'd say I'm probably against Palin.

  5. She absolutely should and will be the VP!

Obama's acceptence speech was carried by 10 networks, 38 million viewers.

Palin's speech carried by only 6 networks, 37 million watched.

Palin is second on the ticket, and nearly beat Obama.  She is dynamic, a true reformer, a Maverick!

McCain-Palin are gonna kick all the do nothings out of Washington.  I'm talkin about the do nothings from both parties, not just the Democrats.

McCain-Palin represent change.  Palin is more fit to lead than Obama.

  6. If McCain could not serve due to sickness we would be stuck with a  Pentecostal who believes in the coming End of Days "Rapture", Speaks in Tongues, banning books in libraries, no s*x education and turning Surpluses into Debts (while Mayor created a $22 Million Deficit.)

  7. she could me good model that's about it.

she never gone out of wilderness of Alaska how she can run a country,

  8. It's funny how a woman with a teenage daughter who is pregnant slashed funding for teenage mothers. Also, a woman with a beautiful child with down syndrome also slashed funding for mentally challenged children. She left Wasilla $20 million dollars in debt. If she can do that to little Wasilla, what's it going to be like for a whole country? I strongly encourage her supporters to do some research on the woman before becoming all "Gung-Ho" about her. She has contradicted herself so many times there is no hope for us if McCain is elected. Because remember folks, anything happens to him, SHE is who we have to fall back on.

A little off topic- what about the "glazed over" look from Cindy McCain, who by the way had an outfit on tuesday night that cost 300,000 dollars! How more in touch with Americans could you be Cindy? My wife and I will make 300,000 dollars in about 4 years.

  9. Because McChick is the mother of five and my mom was the mother of five and having to deal with that many kids teaches you a helluva lot more than anything else ever will. Joe Bama has no experience on top and no brains on the bottom. McChick is why I am voting Republican in November rather than Libertarian!

  10. People argue that Obama is young and inexperienced, but Sarah is as well. Her actions and history which have been blown up in the media seem sketchy too. I watched her speech at the RNC and all she did was try to make jokes about Obama, i want a more serious President, I want someone who is intense, driven, inspirational, and who i trust will follow through, Sarah's presentation was too sarcastic, and her confidence does not seem legitimate. She's way too quick to take this position of taking control of the country after just one or two interviews with McCain. In summary, I haven't found a liking for her so far. So the answer is ...nah i dont think she should be a VP, i would not be comfortable with the possibility that she could be in charge of our country

  11. No I dont Believe  Sarah Palin should be a VP.

I still believe children should be taken care of properly .  A mother

    must tend to her childr

    ELINOR ROOSEVELT

The couple had six children, one of whom died in infancy. The children were, from oldest to youngest, Anna (1906-1975),

James (1907-1991), Franklin Jr. (1909-1909), Elliott (1910-1990), Franklin Jr. (1914-1988), and John (1916-1981

    Elinor Roosevelt National Historic Site

Elinor Roosevelt was greatly intrestested in politics too , but she raised her children without holding any office.

Sarah Palin's last child is a Special Needs Child , who  needs all her attention  at this infancy state,

  12. its funny how within two days of her being named VP we know everything about her, but in two years of Obama we can't get a straight answer about anything. Liberal Media?

  13. She should be VP.  If she proves herself well in office, she should run for president next.  We, however, have to keep in mind that we need to vote very carefully for the next PRESIDENT and not get sidetracked.

  14. Sheeeit homey I should be driving this bus. I'm HOT HOT HOT

  15. She believes in NO s*x EDUCATION. Yes, I do not believe we should condone teen s*x, or any premarital s*x, it is dangerous for many reasons....but....to not tell people "these are the facts, protect yourself." seems really irresponsible. When shown how s*x education reduces teen pregnancy compared to abstience ONLY preaching, the sucess with s*x education....Palin just doesn't care....she doesn't believe it, so it must be wrong, God doesn't tell HER s*x Ed is okay....

She also thinks that if incest reproduces, we should just let it happen..... yeah.... that sounds like a great idea.....Women who are rapped, sorry, it must have been YOUR fault, so you must have that child.... not your CHOICE. Even tho her daughter had the CHOICE to make.... and she praised her for her CHOICE....no, we other women are not worthy to make a choice.... we must listen to ALMIGHTY Palin....

  16. I thought it very progressive of McCain to pick a female runner up for VP. THat was a plus in my book.

Then I found out she's against abortion. Hmm.

I honestly don't know what her political views are as they become clouded with news of her daughter's actions.

Sarah needs to stop being Britney Spear's mom and deal with that matter quietly and discreetly as possible. Instead, she thrusts it into the limelight. That's where she lost me.

She needs to hold a press conference about her candidacy WITHOUT any mention of her daughter.

BTW, forcing her kid to marry another who's so morally bankrupt in order to keep up appearances is no way to give her the guidance she desperately needs.

Unhappy marriages are ever so destructive more than if her daughter were to bring up the child on her own. Especially with a self-proclaimed "Redneck" who will "Kick your A$s" and "Don't want kids".

I have to question the values of a republican family who has nasty rumors circulating about them, such as their daughter is on child #2. Those type of rumours don't get started without some hint of truth.

Sometimes it's the kid's fault for not being conscientious; sometimes it's the parent's fault for not talking to them about s*x, or being there for them. But fact remains, little Bristol can't keep her legs shut and is being steered the wrong way with lousy advice from fake smiles all around. Bristol has to grow up NOW and mom needs to let her take responsibility for her own mistakes, instead of allowing her to believe they will be taken care of by her campaign. That is the wrong message to communicate to your kids.

And to the world about where you stand on leadership.

  17. She's not a real leader.  The Alaskan Governor election was stolen, like most elections are -- by Republicans.

They placed her there and gave her a lot of oil deals.  Now she can be a redneck racist Governor and call her darker citizens slurs and get away with it.

  18. Terrible pick. She is not experienced enough.

  19. I think he's made a huge mistake in judgement. I don't think this country really wants to continue to pillage the land, depleat our oil and erradicate endangered species. Palin has taken a harsh position in Alaska - one that the rest of the country will not take kindly to.

She believes global warming is hogwash and here's some of what she's accomplished for her state:

    1) Palin sued the US gov't to remove the polar bear from the endangered species list so Alaska can drill drill drill for oil

    2) In 2007 she put out a bounty on wolves paying $150 for turning in legs of freshly killed wolves

3)She supports aerial hunting of wolves and bears even though Alaskans voted twice to ban the practice and she used $400,000 of state money to fund a media campaign in support of aerial hunting

    4) Palin supports drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and supports the Pebble Mine (gold mining project in the Bristol Bay Watershed) which poses the greatest single threat to the area’s salmon-bearing rivers and the people who depend on them.

Clearly she cares not for what we leave behind for our children and grandchildren. Clearly she cares more about the almighty profits from oil over keeping the last pristine place we have left. Clearly she may be pro-life for humans but has no regard for other forms of life.

  20. I respectfully withhold my opinion until Governor Palins nude photo's are released and her knocked up daughter and boyfriend publicly perform thier nuptials.

  21. Because I think the two of them can really get things done and shake up Washington.  Stop wasteful spending.  Cut taxes.  Call out people who want to take earmarks.  Stricter regulation on how government funds are used.  Work for Americans, rather than for their party.  Stop the bickering in Congress and the Senate and make them get things done.

McCain sent a huge message to the Republicans by picking her.  They are known as people who aren't afraid to blow whistles in their own party and reach across the aisle to get things done.  She is known in Alaska for standing up to the oil companies and calling out corruption.

  22. No way should  Sarah Palin become VP.

Let's face it, any mother who is not responsible enough to provider her children with s*x education is not responsible enough to hold the second highest office in the United States.

I feel sorry for Bristol Palin.  She was provided no s*x education, no birth control, no facts or options, but was allowed to date.  Sarah Palin CANNOT be surprised that her teenage came home pregnant.  Bristol Palin was set up to fail by her own mother.  It's time to take bets on whether or not Levi will actually MARRY the poor girl or just bail out on her like so many other teenage boys who get their girlfriends pregnant.  I don't think he wants to marry her, but he is probably being pushed to do so.

I saw bits and pieces of her speech on CNN.  She did not sound like a take charge person to me at all.  She just sounded rude, loud and catty.  It seems the only way she could make herself look good was to attempt to make Barak Obama look bad.  Too bad, it just didn't work.

Let's hope that American voters will wise up and see what a big mistake John McCain has made in his choice for VP.  He would have been better off with Hilary Clinton or Condi Rice.

  23. Well, she may be a female but she's got bigger b@lls than the last 4 Presidents and Vice Presidents all put together. She's a fighter and that's what our dear country needs right now, lovers of this land to fight hard for her and for what her colors of red, white and blue really stand for. How can Obama do that when he doesn't believe in pledging to our flag? Sarah and John can bring the house down and put these countries back overseas where they belong, bringing our work and jobs back to American soil so our families can once again strive for what we created. Yes, Sarah is the nuts this country desperately needs! Bring her to DC with McCain so we can all live again!

  24. Any mother, governor or not, who parades her 17 year old unmarried five month pregnant daughter internationally and speaks of being proud of her is irresponsible.  First off, the child right now is illigetimate, second she is abusing and embarrassing that daughter by parading her in front of TV cameras and giving out personal information about her.  Third she is sending a message to other teenagers that it is ok to have babies as teenagers and out of wedlock which I don't think is the actual Christian belief.  I think she is irresponsible.  That is just on the person side -- on the professional side, read what has been written with regards to her time as mayor of Wasilla.  She has left a tremendous debt behind her.  She has acted irresponsibly in that capacity and in the capacitiy of Governor also.  NO she definitely should not be VP -- the people of Alaska are probably hoping to be rid of her.

  25. sure. we need oil darnit. and if that means digging up agriculture to get it and make oil cheaper for now, then i say do it. she may be a mess, but shes real as a person.

  26. Palin is being used by the GOP to carry on the Bush legacy, after McCain serves one term (He doesn't want to fix anything, he just wants the title of "president").

Her beliefs basically tow the line of the NeoCons. She wants the government to grow in power and wealth just like Bush and I hope and pray that she will not serve any office in a national sense.

  27. I think she's totally wrong for the country and when the media gets finished with her they might not even want her to come back to Alaska,as for the V.P. part we the american people have ever right to know more about her  than what McCain The GOP and her family has to say we can say what we want about Obama but at least he's been tested by the media they don't want the media anywhere near this woman

  28. Because if McCain is elected, having fought cancer 4 times already, I couldn't sleep at night knowing Sarah Palin was President of the United States of America.
