  1. I like it a lot. Its like a Corvette sedan and its been on the market overseas for years, so it's had time to get any kinks out.

  2. test drove one today and beside the 2008 Z06 corvette the G8 is a very nice car it was sweet but that Corvette has my heart man that's a sweet ride i just don't have 70K to buy it with might consider the the g8

  3. It's not a bad car, but the front sort of looks like a copy of BMW!

  4. It's a really nice car and really comfortable.

  5. I would buy one, if I had the money, but I'm just going to get a G5 or cobalt. I love the G8, its the new generation of the american muscle car!

  6. It Sucks! Buy a reliable Japanese car.

  7. hottttt!

  8. The G8 is a sweet car. The GT is so fun to drive. I can't wait till they bring out the GXP with a 6 speed manual!

  9. A couple things to keep in mind:

    (1) The 2005 and 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix GTOs are on Consumer Reports' 2008 list of Used Cars to Avoid.

    (2) The Pontiac Grand Prix is on AutoOnInfo.net's list of Automobiles with a Worst Engine (with a score of -.75 on a scale of -1.00 to +1.00) with a Worst Overall Reliability.

    (3) The Pontiac Grand Prix is on AutoOnInfo.net's list of Automobiles with a Worst Transmission (with a score of -.50 on a scale of -1.00 to +1.00) with a Worst Overall Reliability.

    (4) AutoOnInfo.net's detailed reliability and durability studies suggest that a typical 3-year-old Pontiac is as troublesome to own as a typical 27-year-old Honda and a typical 20-year-old Toyota.

    (5) GM's Pontiac line has a 2008 Used Car Reliability Measure of -.51 on a scale of -1.00 to +1.00. For reference, the Hyundai line has a 2008 Used Car Reliability Measure of +.20, the Honda line, +.83, and the Toyota line, +.84.

To help select a reliable vehicle, click the last two links below. The first provides a reliability history of most vehicles sold in the U.S. since 1987 and the second lists the best of 2008 and the worst of 2008.

  10. Awesome car. My brother in law just got one-he let me drive it around for the day. Put it this way, if i already werent in debt for my 2007 Mustang GT i would probably buy one!

  11. Its a great car. Hey Natalia, consumer reports actually recommends the Grand Prix for several years in there reliable used car section! It has the 3800engine which contrary to what you stated, has been called one of the best and most durable engines of all time. Please stick to posting about cars like your stupid little honda fit. Stay away from answering the General Motors cars sections. You will not be able to stop people like myself from driving gms! I refuse to drive those overpriced ugly, boring Hondas and Toyotas. Enough venting (sorry, but Natalia is just ridiculous) The G8 is a big hit with the automotive critics. Giving a great value, great looks and performance. I would love to get one. Some people just dont appreciate American cars with big horsepower and torque. They would rather drive those wimpy 4 cylinders that you have to rev to 6000rpm just to spin a tire.
