Your opinion on Hollister?

what's your opinion on it?

I mean, do you think it's overpriced, out of style, etc...

What kind of clothing/style is "in" right now?

i really like that store

im in love with relaxed beachy tone of the

store and clothes some things are overpriced

but not completely unaffordable for most people

what i dont understand is why people keep saying

"oh its so unoriginal because everyone wears it" what? why would you stop wearing something you like because "everyone else" wears it?and then suggest places like american appearal, pac sun, or urban outfitters or delias or something nad a good number of people wear that too..... would you consider that "unoriginal"? no you wouldnt so i think people should really stop leaving answers like thhat on questions like this

I like it a lot. But I think Abercrombie & Fitch is kind of better. I really like their style.

I love Hollister but I only shop the clearance because it can get expensive. It has such great style though and it's cheaper than A&F.I could find you and outfit from there for cheap if you like.

There are many stores that have the same style as Hollister but cheaper. It's all about the brand for some people though.

There stores that are very similar are :

Abercrombie and Fitch

American Eagle

Aeropostale

and many others.

Hey There ! I dont like those pricey stores like hollister or abrocrombie bcuz its just like ur walking around advertising their store or something. I like unique clothes that is different from others, but still in style. I would suggest joyce leslie and h & m... byeeex3

I havent ever been to hollister but I have seen thier site many times and i love the clothing.  For me its pricy and i ouldnt buy something unless it was on sale.  But i think its a great store for style.  Iff you go to stores like bluenotes, americasn eagle, stitches,forever 21,aeropostle, abracomblie and fitch and all those teen store they have stuff that is in.  Some things that are in are:

Light nailpolish dark is out of style

long necklaces

bling on the finger haha

bangles sorta

gladiator shoes and platform shoes

flats

shirts with an empire waist

skinny jeans

bots or uggs over skinny jeans

tank tops

halter tops

bright fun colours

leggings

denim with like the ripped look

layering

cute croped jackets

for hair bangs are in

belts!

tunics

big sunglasses

I think they're stuff is cute and "in" for like middle schoolers but it's overpriced and very common, everyone has their stuff so wearing clothes from hollister makes you completely unoriginal.

my opinion on hollister is that it's boring and isn't stylish at all. no offense to anyone who shops there, you're all entitled to your own opinions. i personally think that it's really unoriginal, like everyone wears it! most people just wear it because others do, not because they actually like it. their clothes aren't very stylish and look the same every season. if you wear hollister to school, then there's a high probability that someone's wearing the same shirt. i just think people should be more unique.

the clothes i think are in are designer clothes. you can get look-alikes at forever 21, h&m, and nordstrom. i love forever 21, it's like my favorite store. the basic trends for this season are:

1. tartan checks

2. black

3. tomato red and jewel tones

4. skinny jeans

5. tights under skirts and dresses

6. animal prints

7. fur, fringes

8. tunics

9. hats, like berets

10. chunky accessories

11. structured shirts

12. flats

if you're going shopping for a new style then my best advice is to know the trends but to only buy what YOU like. style is all about originality, darling. own your style and wear it with confidence. that's why i don't like hollister...no originality whatsoever. again, no offense to hollister lovers!

i love hollister, and i dont think its overpriced or out of style.

becuase if you go into an abercrombie, there clothes are exactly the same, and its so much more money.

so yeah, i think hollister will always be popular.

I think that some of the clothes at Hollister are cute. However, most of the things are very pricey. Not trying to be cheap or anything, but $25 for a t-shirt is a lot for me. I usually go for shirts in the $10-$20 range.The material they use for the clothes is very thin and to me, I just don't feel as if it's worth the money I paid for. Not to be picky or anything, but I really don't like the way how all the clothes always look similar to each other. I've had tees from when I first started shopping at Hollister. I can compare them to some of the ones they sell now, and all they basically did was move the words around a bit. Not to be mean, but buying that same stuff for $25 is a RIPOFF. I also don't like the way how the clothes go on sale all the time. I know that the people there have to make a living. But it's sad to see a $30 shirt go down to half it's value. I could've bought something with that extra $15. Same thing with Abercrombie.

Hollister isn't one of my favorite stores to shop at. Where I live, it's one of the only stores where it doesn't take an hour to drive to, and with the gas prices these days,so yeah, I've been picking out of the clearance for a couple of years now. I think that Hollister is much better than Abercrombie. They're not as big of rip-offs and they do offer more styles and the things they put on clearance aren't so ugly (no offense). And the style is more laid back and casual than many other brands, I like that about it.  If I had the oppurtunity, I wouldn't shop there at all. Many of the girls at my school where the same thing. I don't like sitting next to someone wearing the same shirt as I am. The Nordstrom and the Urban Outfitters are very far away from where I live though. I know that a lot of girls think it's S****y to be wearing Hollister but if you like the clothes, I'd highly reccommend you to wear them. It's your style!
