Your opinion on sightron scopes?

okay so im getting a remington 700 varmint .308 which will be used for target shooting and hunting and i was looking for a 4-14 power scope and i came across these scopes there priced decent and i here there pretty good scopes but id like to here yalls opinion b4 i buy one heres the model im planing on buying http://www.midwayusa.com/eproductpage.exe/showproduct?saleitemid=475826&t=11082005 tell me everything you know about these scopes and the number1 question i have is will it stand up to the recoil of a .308?

I have a friend that put one on his new remington VTR .22-250 and he loves it. It's has clear glass and the zero never moves so it seems high quality from what I've seen.

I've had a couple of them over the years, I like them and would buy another one. It would stand up to a .308 easilly. Mine is on a 700 Remington in 7mm Magnum.
