If you are talking about the USA, I don't want to see any politician RULE our country.  What I hope to see from a president is one who can manage his branch of the government according to the Constitution and whose administration lets me manage my own life.

In 2008, we need a president that is familar with middle eastern politics and foreign policy in general; iraq is far more dangerous today, than when we actually entered: hence, it would be quite intersting to see how things will unfold.
