  1. it is not good and waste of time

  2. The referral system needs some modifications.

It has been a good move by the ICC to get the most accurate possible decisions, but surely there have been some dubious decisions in the recent series.

However, I feel, while making the decisions, there should be proper and more use of technology. HotSpot should be used along with SnickoMeter to gauge the perfect area of the ball.

Also, the time limit for referring must be specific. Right now, it is just mentioned "a few seconds". The player must not confirm with the umpire as to why the decision was not given in favour of their team. If you want to refer, then go for the referral directly.

well, this was just an experimental series. I hope, all the concerned officials have taken notice of the shortcomings and soon proper system would be introduced in the further games.

And I am definitely with the Referral System. I know India had to bear some bad decisions but it is far better than testing an umpire in utmost pressure conditions!!!

  3. Referral system using hawk's eye and snickometer additionally would minimise controversies.

  4. thus system is not good

  5. yes.. its make justice to anyone

  6. I am not in favour of the referral system. The hawk eye predictions seem to much better coz they get clear view of the happenings. Whereas thats not the case with the referal system. They see the decisions from a particular angle. So sometimes they may not get their decisions rite.

The referral system during INDIA SRI LANKA series was inconsistent. So if they improve and become consistent then i dont see why they shouldn't stay

  7. they should continue it because it is the right thing to do

  8. This isa good system and it should be continued.  Every new system has teething problem and rough edges which will be sorted out with the time.

  9. I think review system needs a serious review.

Nearly 3 hours were lost in the entire SL-India series (3 matches). You could bowl about 40 overs in that space or complete a twenty-twenty match.

I'm in favour of review as it will bring down the amount of controversies regarding dismissals. But the time lost due to reviews has to be brought down.

  10. Totally against it. Should accept on field umpire and other players word. Though this did fail dismally when India toured Australia. India were not at fault here, some terrible umpiring decisions and appeals.
