  1. It really dosent matter but if your a traveler then I would get a laptop

  2. Tablets are cool, but I think of them more like a big PDA, and I would only use one at work. I wouldnt want to carry it around with me.

I dont really like macs, but I would get an iphone before I would get a tablet.

The great thing about laptops is that you can get 6-8 hours of use out of them. The Lenovo x61 and x200 have 7-8 hours battery lives and can both be purchased for under $1000. The x61 can be purchased for under $600 with just the basics. When I replace my current laptop, it will be with either the x61 or x200.

  3. I've been using TabletPC's for almost 5 years now and would never go back to a regular laptop.

A convertible TabletPC (swivel screen on keyboard) does everything that a laptop does, plus has so much more.   I myself use a slate TPC and only attach a keyboard if absolutely needed (maybe once or twice a year). I handwrite everything and use the built in handwriting recognition if it needs to be converted to text.

The mobility factor is much better with a TPC. I can stand, sit, lounge, or walk and still use my Tablet. you just can't do that with a laptop.

To learn more go to these 2 TabletPC forums. You care find discussions and links to TPC specific apps and tools.
