Your opinions; Is snuggling with a guy while you have a boyfriend considered "cheating"?

In my previous question I wrote that my bf thinks I cheated because he read a text message that a guy wrote to me. The text message was something suggesting that he and I would eventually have s*x (he's full of himself).

This guy is my brothers roommate and I stayed with my brother for a month and me and this guy became close. I was with my bf at the time. My bf is now mad at me and won't let me explain. I don't think I did anything wrong. Did I do something wrong? Please explain why snuggling is wrong?

I'd say it's borderline cheating. While you didn't do anything really wrong, your boyfriend would probably be upset regardless. The other guy you were cuddling with will most likely get sent the wrong message by you doing that and try to get with you or take things further. This can cause several problems.

yes it is wrong!  if you are in a committed relationship then you should never snuggle, hug, or anything that is suggesting that you are interested in getting closer to that person!  if you have a bf, why would you snuggle with someone else!?  i am a mother of 2 and have been married to their father for almost 29yrs and i would never snuggle with another man!  that is disrespectful to them!

It is wrong because you had a boyfriend who trusted you and feels now with good reason that you betrayed that trust. If you care about your boyfriend why would you even do that, and think that he should trust you still? It's wrong! Being your boyfriend, he put himself in a vunerable, open position to you emotionally and you went and had a close encounter with another guy. That's not fair to him. If you want to be with your boy still it might be a good idea to apologize and work out y'alls problems.

Snuggling with ANOTHER boy when you already have a boyfriend?That is so wrong in so many ways.What if you found out that your BF has been snuggling with another girl.You would feel heart broken and jealous and get overprotective of your BF.Plus that text message OMG!!!Well,I gotta give you advice on this: get away from that boy IMMEDIATELY or break up from your boyfriend and be with the other...Okay?

depends on what you are wearing.....

fact of the matter: your BF is upset because you reached out and made a connection to another guy....there IS a reason behind that...whether you say it's innocent or not (only YOU know for sure) - he won't percieve it that way.

you really straddled (no pun intended) the fence there....you may not have been physically intimate with the other man, but you created a emotional/mental itimacy that wont easily be forgotten
