Just wondered how much teachers are affected by the pupils they teach...

(In a secondary school)

1. Is your favourite always the chattiest most confident student who makes you laugh?

2. Are they the student best at the subject you teach?

3. Do you ever hint to them they are your favourite?

4. Are there any pupils that creep you out?

5. Do you ever lie in bed worrying about a pupil?

6. Has something a pupil said/done effected you strongly?

7. Do you ever show your wife/friends a piece of work a child has done?

8. Do you treat your own children the same way you would pupils at school?

9. If you see a student out of school do you

a. smile and wave then carry on

b. Walk up and briefly chat to them

c. Go up for a long chat and introduce yourself to their parents

10. Is there ever a point in class when you want to say something to a pupil to chat, but don't know whether to or not? Or are you relaxed and say whatever comes into your head?
