  1. we have some weird things here, not scary, just odd. about 6-7 months ago my husband and i were watching tv and all the kids were in bed. we heard a voice on the stairway, but when i went to investigate, no one was there. it was definitely a child. so i checked on everyone and they were asleep, the tvs were on, fans in the windows and the doors shut. we thought nothing about it until we heard it again. we went to the bottom of the stairs and were talking about how even if the kids were awake we wouldnt hear them over the noise of tv and fans with the doors shut. thats when we heard the muffled voice again, about half way up the staircase. we both looked at an empty step, when i turned to ask him if he heard that a loud childs giggle came from right beside us. we both turned at the same time and looked down. it was right there.

now by this time i was rathered creeped out, not scared, just creepy.

once when my daughter (16 yrs) was getting ready to go upstairs to bed she put her hand on the railing and looked up, at the top of the stairs was a young girl, in a nightgown. not one of her sisters either. she said they just stood there looking at one another. my daughter turned to call me and when she looked back she was gone.

we were on a short trip and i called home to check in my daughter (same one, now 17) because she had to work and was unable to go with us. she told me 'they' were knocking on the walls, door, windows, etc... not pounding, more like a light rapping noise. i asked if she was scared, she said no, but just a little freaked out. i told her to get off the phone with me and stand in the middle of the room and outloud say "ok guys, i know you are playing, but you are kind of creeping me out. can you stop for the night?"

the next morning i called and she said she did it and it worked, the noises stopped and she went to bed.

there are many more stories, the best one being when my hubby was about 11 he was in the room he shared with his infant brother. as he was laying down to go to sleep he heard something. he said his brothers name, thinking it was him (brother was all of about 5 months at the time and couldnt talk). thats when at his bed side next to his hear something said "davey, wanna play?". he was outta there, he ran down the hall to his mom.

or the solid crystal candy dish (one of those 1/4 in thick ones) was placed on the coffee table, when my in laws started arguing the dish broke cleanly in two pieces. they were accross the room at the time. they also had the whole put down your keys, cooking utensil, etc.. and when you turn back its gone. everytime you would find it in the basement, accross the room, on top of the furnace. every single time.

i could go on for hours, but i think you get the point. nothing mean, malicious or evil, just creepy, annoying and odd

  2. i had a dream about a friend i lost touch with & in the dream my friends faced was messed up so when i woke up i looked his name up online & found his obit & a news story that he died in a car crash.

  3. No.

The closest I came was smelling my mother after she died.  But the smell was only around when I was by myself (I'm always skeptic when paranormal experiences happens to an individual while alone).

I reasoned that I miss her so much that I'm subconsciously heightening my memories.

  4. I have seen ghosts a few times...first time I was a teenager, it was a man, seemed very evil, found out later he died in the bed I slept in...second time in my 20's, I was sleeping and my blanket fell on the floor, I grabbed it and covered back up, then the blanket was ripped off the bed, I looked over and there was a small blonde haired, blue eyed boy, looked about 4 years old, standing next to my bed, I scrambled out of bed and ran out...third time, my husband and I bought an old house, over 100 years old, we lived here about 2 weeks, one day the bathroom door opened and there was a naked old man drying off like he just got done taking a shower, then he disappeared, then weird things happened, the water kept turning on in the kitchen, doors kept opening, things moved to different places, my husband saw him walking down the steps and then disappeared, my daughter said he came in her room and sat on her bed and disappeared, I saw him three more times sitting in the livingroom and in my bedroom...then all of a sudden everything stopped, haven't seen him in almost a year.

They all looked opaque, like you could see through them...none of them ever spoke or touched me though.

  5. No I have not.

  6. I haven't, but I also wish it would happen (probably would be pretty freaky though if I saw a apparition just walk in front or to the die of me in a dark house).

I just watch Ghost Hunters to see other people's paranormal experiences, because I don't have any of myself (not my do).

  7. I haven't had any such experiences except for the shoulder tap. That one got my attention, but then I waited for a while and felt another and realized it was a muscle spasm. It's happened on my back before, too. It can be kind of startling if you don't realize its a muscular spasm thing.
