I don't think the main favourites will attack though will keep on tab who is attacking since he has already lost time I think Damiano Cunego will win the stage

I don't think the GC riders are going to exert too much energy on the first real mountain stage, so I think they are going to spend most of the time keeping tabs on one another rather than going for a stage win.  For this reason I think it's far more likely that a good climber that it is a bit far down on time and not as likely a threat to to the overall lead is a good pick.  The most ideally placed rider to do this is:  Riccardo Ricco.  We've seem him do it in the Giro and he certainly has the aggression and devil-may-care attitude to pull it off.  So look for Ricco as the stage winner on Sunday.

Tomorrow is the first mountain stage so expect the overall contenders to figure highly although the downhill finish should mean time gaps are limited.

Valverde will rightly go in as favourite, but I think the other Spaniards of Oscar Pereiro and Samuel Sanchez could be the men to watch.

I would like to see Kim Kirchin, but I don't think he can beat Evans or Valverde.  Evans came in as the favorite since the best rider isn't there. He has to show now that he is the man to beat, so I think he will win tomorrow.
