  1. 12:01am is one minute after midnight (ie it is on the morning of June 3), if the policy was cancelled at that time, then no insurance was in place 16 1/2 hours later at 4:30pm!

  2. You are wrong!

  3. The policy cancelled at 12:01am, one minute past midnite on June 2. One minute past midnite begins the new day of June 3. The insurance company is not obligated to pay for damages which occurred past the cancellation date and time.

Since the accident occurred at 4:30pm on the 3rd, the policy had been in cancellation for 16 hrs. and 29 minutes.

    16:30 - 00:01 = 16:29 hrs.

Sorry. He should have paid his insurance on time.

Like my mother used to tell me when I was a kid, if I did something I shouldn't have done, or didn't do something that I should have done, and got hurt, Hardheads who don't listen have to feel".

  4. No.  4:30 pm is after 12:01 am.  The "12:00am" until which he had insurance was when June 2nd ended and June 3rd began.
