Your sign and ego. every is able to answer this. please!?

Question

This is what I'm thinking, everybody can say that they're not exactly a proper Taurus for example, because they have quite a mixture in their charts too. But, reading all the descriptions of the sunsigns, even though I could potentially match up to be a Cancerian or a Scorpio, I prefer Taurus. I like the description of Taurus, even if it's not exactly me. If you get me, it's my ego and what I'd want to be. So, in a way it's sort of aspiring to your sunsign. Your sunsign is not necessarily who you are, but what you want to be at heart. (not down to the specific points like business and romance, but who you want to be in yourself, that sorta thing). (ps stubborn is a bad trait, but I'm really proud of it!)

I'll see if I can ask this clearly (cos I ramble a lot). Out of all the sunsigns, do you aspire the most to the description of your own sign? Please explain.

Oh i know what u r saying completely. I don't know if all this astrology c**p is true but it is cool to read and sh*t. I'm a Leo, and i must say that i really do fit under this sign the most. whether or not i just like to  believe and think that, i don't know. But why would u want to be a Taurus?? they're not even that awesome.

I am happy being a Capricorn. It's what I chose to be when I entered this life. I wish I had a little quicker responding Moon... with a Taurus Moon and a Capricorn Sun, it takes me about a week to realize when I have had an emotion, but other than that, it's ok...

What? I'm a taurus, and I always have been. I have alot of the taurus traits... and I have other star sign traits too, but other star signs dont really interest me, so whatever.

great point there lencow - that our sunsign is who we aspire to be! no wonder we all think our own sun sign is the best because its who we want to be :)

I would say i am somewhat like a cancer, I dont like being needy and a drip (thanks to venus/mars in leo), but i really do have deep feelings, care about the people close to me, i want to protect and be protected, im very sensitive and love the family/home life

im proud that your proud of your stubborn trait , its good to hear -  i also like my 1000 moods i can get, although i dont want to freak people out, i do enjoy them

Hello...I am an aquarius and I do love being an aquarius like the rebellious genius all that stuff.  My mind is always working fast and I am rebellious but not like you see in the movies.  Mostly I just add my own special touch to things so that's my brand of rebellion :)  I like your question.

Reading all of the sun sign personalities, I definitely identify with being a Pisces. I'm proud to be a Pisces, but sometimes I feel that to get anywhere in this mean ugly world I need to adopt the stability and practicality of an Earth sign. I really admire Capricorns, but I don't think I would like to sacrifice any Piscean traits to gain Capricornian traits; I just wouldn't be me anymore.

I don't know if that's true  Lencow, because I hate everything about my Sun sign. Not only do I not aspire to it...I try to be nothing like it...I have the same sign as my rising sign also, and I still don't admire it. What I do like about my chart is that my Sun is in the 1st house conjunct the Ascendant, and Mars, with Pluto also in the first house...Which gives me a strong and powerful edge. I don't care about beauty and harmony and fairness one bit....And I am not a peace maker, nor a social butterfly, and I have no problem arguing with people, and no fear of confrontation or hurting people's feelings, or rocking the 'balance'. I can be charming and elegant, and I am good at seeing all sides of the equation, and I enjoy mental stimulation, debate, and the finer things in life. Am I like my sun? Yes, I am in many ways, but that still doesn't mean I admire it..I try my best to counteract it's influences and act the way that I want. The chart tells you traits that come naturally to you, but you choose how to project them.

The sun (to integrate) in Taurus (Enduring and Possessive).

my unintended alter ego is always an aries (always on the go, shortsighted, forceful, direct, blunt) or aquarius (also moving every where, hard to pin down, sometimes wise, quirky and very detached). these are what ive gathered from my friends.

by the way i carry myself in the crowd, you would never have guessed im a cancer, esp on the first impression, until.....you spend more time with me, say, prolly a few years becoming my friend, or you are excellent at 'reading' people, only then, you would know i am a cancer, as in like the typical characteristics of a cancer, homeloving, family oriented, bla bla.....

so...that leaves, the intended ego...hmm.....this is difficult, i love becoming a cancer, i cant imagine myself not being one. but if i could replace my weaknesses of a cancer with the strengths of other signs, id take in sag and taurus. woohhh, id be a happy person! =)

fur sags id like to emulate the part of where they're chirpy-er and happier version of aries, plus the philosophical part, ooohh, this one particular part i just look up to them. though this is just based on what ive read and observed, as for the actual fact. the only closest sags ive known are the ones online here......

and a taurus. just this one taurus friend, who amazes me with her ways of thinking. she was my ex engineering colleague who could just scan over 3 pages of maths equation and simplify in three short sentences!! dang! never met anyone who is so bright and has more common sense than anyone else (or it could just be me! lol). i just love the way she looks at things, a natural problem solver though stubborn but yet very practical, straight to the point yet diplomatic. simply put, LOVE her!

so yeah, there goes, some of my sources of aspiration....=)
