I want to know if you think that this is correct or close to correct. The 2008 Rays are just like the 2006 Detroit Tigers. Im a Tigers fan, and that year was special. They had 1 leader in the SP rotation in Rogers. Scott Kazmir is the Rays leader. They had a great bullpen, just like the Rays this year. The young hitters were also great too for both teams. Everybody doubted the Tigers in the ALDS, because they played the mighty Yankees, but they overcame that. I think the Rays are the 2006 Tigers.

  1. Umm stop hoppin on Rays bandwagon you have a lot of Rays questions are you obsessed with them who next hey maybe when the Washington Nationals get good you'll hop on there bandwagon! told you off lol!

  2. This one has been quite a surprise. I never pictured the Rays leading the AL East or the Tigers playing so poorly. I never pictured the Brewers giving a fight in the Central (including the Sabathia trade) or the Cardinals for that matter. This October will be one to remember.

  3. Aren't the Marlins essentially the same team led by Nolasco? Their bullpen may not be great but oh well. The Rays don't have a great bullpen, they have a good bullpen. Why do I say that? All these bullpen pitchers(excluding Percival) were part of the bullpen last year. I'm pretty sure the bullpen's ERA was about 6. You can try to erase that memory, but you can't. Trust me, I've been trying to erase Reyes from my mind. As for young hitters, isn't Longoria and Crawford the only ones who are really considered  young? I love the Rays, don't get me wrong, but they are not the '06 Tigers. They are a very different team, but they may be different in a good way
