What do religous peoples think of the war for oil? Is it OK to kill people as long as a conservative republican says so?

  1. Dear Friend,

The war on "terror" has nothing to do with fighting for oil rights.  The United States has multiple alternatives to oil, but the liberals think that saving the orange spotted belly blow fly is more important than man's ...survival. Therefore, we can't drill where ever it is...NECESSARY!

Since your on the subject of "killing" least we forget to mention the liberals who insist on abortion rights; and had abortion been prevented "years" ago, we'd have plenty of money (invested in social security) because those millions of lost lives would have been "working" citizens and contributing to social security, and we wouldn't be in the "mess" we are in today.  But instead, they were "murdered!"  Man = Dumb Sheep!  Or is that...DUH-M!

The war on "terror" is a "spiritual" war.  The East wants to "kill" ALL the Jews (God's people) and the American (infidels).  They want to continue where Hitler left off.  ONLY WORSE!

P.s. There 'are' terrorist cells all over the U.S.  It will only take "one" phone call. Get your head out of the sand America.

  2. Which one?

I remember a few decades back, when my draft number was #3, that a Democrat President who wanted us to kill the commies in the far east. What was his name, oh, John Kennedy, and his vice president named Johnson continued wanting us to kill the commies.

Since then, I see that all governments are self-interested beasts (the Bible shows this especially in Daniel and Revelation) I would have NO OTHER Expection that someone was going to die when they step in the path of one of these beasts.

    Ask the people in Georgia.

Oh, and that war too is about oil. The Russian "bear" doesn't want the lone pipe line not under their control to stay in another government's hands.

It does not make any sense for a Christian to get involved, since all these "beasts" will be destoryed in the battle against the "King of kings and Lord of lords".

  3. Hey!  Logic says: We need oil.  They have some.  They won't give it to us.  Logical conclusion: War.

It's not a religious thing, it's a logical thing.  Don't you know anything about life?

    I'm Atheist!

  4. Agnostic.  All war is wrong. No such thing as a war to right a wrong. Two wrongs don't make a right.

  5. I fought my wars in the '60's, right there with McCain and thousands of others. We may not have liked it but we did our duty as we were supposed to do. We fought, we got wounded, we got killed and we got captured and put in h**l holes of prison camps. We did it because it was better to fight there than it would have been to fight here. Our boys today do the same in gratitude to those of us who have gone on before and for those of you who have never stepped forward to take up arms in defense of your country and the life style you live. Instead of mocking them, downgrading them and complaining about why we are fighting and who is to blame, stand up on your hind legs and thank these brave boys for the sacrifice they are paying to give you a safe place to sleep tonight and every night of your life.

    SEMPER FI! forever.

  6. I am opposed to the war in Iraq and have been since the onset , but keep in mind, over 95% of the democrats in congress voted for it too.

  7. Although the war was started based on bad intelligence, it was needed to prevent further genocide.  Currently we are not there in a war effort, we're trying to bolster the new government that is in peril due to Islamic religious differences.  Morality of war and killing are two separate things, war is not the first choice, but it is like surgery to cut out a tumor.

    My atheist viewpoint.

  8. not ok not cool. if we drill here no fight no turmoil.

MATTHEW 5:9      Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

  9. I am not a religious person. I followed war. It produced no results that I could see.

  10. One of the things that I detest is that people believe Americans are greedy and selfish people.  I disagree with that lie and I don't care where that came from.  This war that America is waging is like a man who is trying to save a sick wife from cancer that seeks to destroy her from the inside.  We do not have enough good news that show how appreciative Iraqi's are for us being there at all.   What ever happened to a free and unbiased press?  Whatever happened to freedom of the press?

If America is home of the land of the free and the home of the brave then I say we act like it.  Americans are not selfish or greedy at all.  We are there your mothers fathers brothers and sisters helping a new nation that just won freedom to be able to govern itself.

We still have bases in Japan and Germany.  They were enemies we defeated in War World 2.

There is more I could say but I stop here.  My thought on the war is that it is a just war and we have no reason to hang our head in shame or embarrassment.  I'm proud of what we as a nation has done in Iraq and Afghanistan.

I'm also glad to say that we as a Christian nation are helping a Muslim nation stand on it's own from a common enemy that are terrorists extremists whose followers live only on fear and not on hope.  And they wish to give fear to the people.  But I don't believe that Islam is a religion of fear but of hope as well.  And I think that many Iraqi and Afghan citizens feel that way too.

The terrorist do not think if the soldeirs over there are democrats or republicans.   And that is America we are united against a common enemy and are hellping those nations fight this common enemy of humanity.

There is so much built up in me about this but I say your question is wrong.  What you describe as America is not what we are.

  11. You have a loaded question.  I am not for a war to get oil.  As far as I know we have never been in one.

  12. It's funny how most people polled thought the 9/11 terrorists were Iraqis. There are people out there that think this war was about something else.

  13. why do you think all christains are cloned and think one way...? You have not much knowledge of what  it is about... i think war stinks and i would think most do ... to die over oil is even more sad. I do not like war and i do not think the war is about oil

  14. It's like heroine.

You take it, ignoring the side effects, and keep chasing the purple dragon, but never quite get it.

  15. I supported the War in Afghanistan because 911 showed us we can't leave terrorist training camps in operation, sending murderers against the West. I supported the initial attack on Iraq to replace Saddam Hussein because he was an evil dictator who murdered, tortured and gassed his own people, and paid US$10,000 to the parents of every suicide bomber sent into Israel. He had convinced his neighbours he did still have weapons of mass destruction, so that was a factor too.

I didn't support staying there afterwards - clearly the US thought they would be welcomed as liberators, and didn't understand the hatred of "infidels" by Islamists. It was never a war for oil in spite of democrat propaganda to that effect. The USA has spent $US4 Trillion on the War - don't you think they could have bought quite a lot of oil for that much cash? The Iraq war has gone horribly wrong but the US went there for what they believed to be good and noble reasons.

To call it a "War for Oil" is not only stupid, it's disloyal.
