  1. Good for him! I wouldn't be able to live with the clutter even in the basement. It seems that he cleans the stuff before he puts it in the basement, that's good. And has even lowered the amount of personal trash by using glass etc., also good. Apparently he has made a big impact at his work place again, good.

    I'm all for recycling and never realized how much one person actually contributes to our landfills.

    After reading that article (and seeing the picture) I must say that is a good argument for each state (and country) to take care of their own trash and stop shipping it to other states and countries.  And yes, it's true, that is exactly what is happening in Michigan. Canada's trash is trucked over the bridge to go into our landfills.
