  1. Well it's like this, I have a low wage job but I would not pin my choice on Obama to make my life better.   The reason is that there are jobs that are high paying and jobs like mine that are low paying, that's how it works.  If people want a higher wage then they need to get more education and look for a field that pays more.  Do people really think that if they work in grocery store that they are going to make $21.00 an hour, that would be laughable.

I guess telling people to try to improve themselves through education is not what they want to hear.

My Son had a low paying job, what he did was take a course that he knew would make him more money.  No he didn't sit around waiting for Obama or McCain to give him a free hand out.  He did it on his own and I am proud of that fact.

  2. The folks who are in the lower wage sector clammier for a 'Savior' who will raise them out of their situation.

Problem is they are dependent upon government to solve ALL their problems. These folks will always migrate toward the one who promises the most giveaways.

Folks, the only solution to your problems is you. Anyway You can't afford the government fix, it is always too expensive, or inadequate.

  3. It makes sense to me because:

    - Bush is seen as elite, and Obama is the change agent.

    - Similarly, Bush and the Republicans are seen as the cause of these hard economic times.

    - Obama speaks to the problem, while McCain has yet to really offer a solution, as far as I can tell.

    - It's the low-wage workers who are hurting the most.

    - Even the military is largely made up of the children of the low-wage workers, so they look for help in the issue of the war to our next president, and Obama appears most likely to pull us away from war sooner than later.

I could go on, but I need to get to work...

Bet you get some interesting answers!

  4. Obama offers hope to those who feel they are being left behind. It's not about the government helping folks. In a country as wealthy as ours, we shouldn't have people working jobs that doesn't pay them a livable wage and offer decent health care and retirement packages (401k plans are not accessible by most simply because they don't earn enough to stash away money on a monthly basis).

We need a President who'll look out for the our safety, the environment, ensure people are treated fairly and paid a living wage, decent health care, retirement plans and make it so that the American Dream which has been dying slowly since the late 1970's early 1980's is accessible to those who want it.

Even our military men and women are suffering ! People don't realize that some military families are actually getting welfare !

    Does that make sense !

If you don't wrestle with whether or not to pay a bill to save money for food or gas then consider yourself very fortunate but some people wrestle with those kinds of decisions everyday. All I can really say is we are now seeing one of the worst economic times in history and I believe we owe it all to the current people in office !

  5. they never give up hope for a brighter future.

  6. American is in debt in a huge way due to the current administration. No mater what they say, the next administration will have to tax us. The difference is the McCain will tax everyone, even the poor. Obama will tax the rich only.

  7. Low wage workers always pick the one they feel are going to give them a free ride.
