Your thoughts on Kobe's performance?

My own? Personally I have always thought Kobe was/is a despicable person. Professionally I always thought he was an arrogant little t**t. From a rivalry standpoint and as a Spurs fan, he's driven the dagger in my team's heart enough times for permanent hate to develop...

But my gawd, I could kiss Kobe right now! One thing I've NEVER took away from him is that he is the best player in America this generation and last night he showed the world why even if we hate him or love him we respect him as our best player...even when he has that silly smirk on his face.

Congrats Kobe. As an American and as an NBA fan you made us all proud last night. Thank You.

  2. Once again he's shown why he is the best player in the world, and why you would want him with the ball in his hands at the end of a game: Clutch.

    I personally know a few Lakers haters, even bigger Kobe Bryant haters in particular, that ragged on him all throughout the Olympics because his FG% was down, and how he was "showing his selfish side again". Well my friends, with only a 2 point lead over Spain, everyone on Team USA struggling, and everyone sweating bullets: players, coaches, and fans all over the world, who came to the rescue in crunch time, in arguably the most pressured situation of their Basketball careers? Kobe Bryant.

    I couldn't be more proud of Kobe's performance last night, leading the troops and pulling Team USA out of the jaws of defeat. As LeBron James said, quote, "If there is any one guy on this team who will take big shots in the clutch, it's Kobe Bryant".

    Kobe was sensational and he always is at the end of games. Nobody loves it more than he does.
