Your thoughts on Pre-Teen s*x!?!

Question

I was on here earlier and there was a question about a 12 year old having s*x! Like whats happening to the younger girls and boys these days! Im 15 and I couldnt imagine not being a virgin.

So, whats your thoughts on the younger generations having s*x? And also what do you thing could be the causes for this? Media, pressure, just straight up horny kids?

Im just a little confused about what is causing such young girs and boys to be worrying about s*x, when they should just be worrying about school, friends, and enjoying not having to work! Instead of pregnancy.

Your opinions are all appriciated, and im not trying to offend anyone!

i think its wrong at 12 but there going to do it anyway either way. i would just rather than use precautions instead of doing it without anything.

It is a very important subject and as much as people dislike it it is definatly something that needs to be discussed.

s*x at such a young age has ALOT to do with peer pressure. not to mention young children (because thats what they are) as very uneducated about s*x. most of them think you cannot fall pregnant before you get your periods...or that you cannot fall pregnant the first time you have s*x. Its a very sad problem.

I started having s*x at 14 (i was on the pill and used condoms) When i was 16 i was on the depo needle i had been with my 22yr old b/f for over a year. my depo needle had just finsihed but i thought i was safe and like most young girls that *it woulden't happen to me* Well..I fell pregnant. I diden't get an abortion because one of the concequences of having s*x is..pregnancy. I also have an STD that i contracted before i was with my sons father..and i ALWAYS used condoms.

I am now 19 and i have learned alot from my past. I had to have an abortion when i was 18 (for psychological reasons). My son is now a happy, healthy and well looked after 2yr old. and if i could go back in time..i would do it all again, Because having my son is the best and most rewarding thing i have ever done.

When my son was 4 months old his father and i split up. But luckily when my son was 6 months old i met a fantastic guy who loves both my son and i and takes very good care of us. We hjave now been together for 20 months and are TTC number 2. But now..we have everything we need to have a baby, decent income, our own house, cars, engaged..etc.

here's  what i think :  you are right to think that the young folk are having s*x way too early and they are not realizing the end results are usually wrapped in a baby blanket.   i think there are a lot of kids that are bored.  too many are on the computer all the time instead of sitting and talking with their families.  society puts a lot of pressure on young people to experiment with relationships long before they are ready to commit to a long and permanent relationship called marriage.  just look at the current movies that are out and that will show my point.  

as for you keep the good job going of being pure.

yes i know i remember when i was 12 we didn't even think about s*x or anything about that pre-teens these day are so different then how kids back in the 80's were. i also found a question about a thirteen year old wanted to get pregnant a soon as possible just because her friend got pregnant and her friend told her to get pregnant 2 so she could feel what it feels like. i think that is so stupid I'm sorry but y would a thirteen year old want to get pregnant.

holy c**p, im 13 and my best friend has had OVER 30 BOYFRIENDS and like almost gone all the way. its pretty gross and i hate that everyone in our school is so perverted and I HAVENT HAD MY FIRST KISS YET and everyones all anal about it. and seriously everyone takes everything as such a big deal and it doesnt even matter. the guys jack off in class and the girls finger eachother in the freakin bathroom!

Pre-teens should not have s*x AT ALL ever! As kids get older though, in their later teens I understand how they feel the need to experiment, as it were. By then at least they should be well informed and know how to make the right decision. And honestly, at a later teen age, you cant stop what they're going to do anyway, at least they better know how to stay safe. But pre-teens?? Uh no, NO WAY should they ever have s*x!

i believe it is the media. Media portrays sexual contant which in turn fascinates the eyes ofyoung people. I remember when i was in middle and elementry school, my mom bought my clothes and i didnt care about fasion, style or even impressing anyone until my high school years. i feel that many younger girls were looking up to older people looking at how they dress and how it fascianted them. As time went on and it continued to happen, younger and younger girls saw low shirts and tight jeans being the cool thing. High schoolers started it and middles schoolers followed.. soon the elementry kids began seeing this too and wanted to be apart of this trendy look. I believe it is mostly the media but the thought of looking good is becoming such a younger thing and boys sexual "stuff" starts in middle school and the girls like the attention. Its stupid and sad but you should hang in there.. and way to go for keeping your virganity

i think its becuase a mix of everything. for some kids its the midea or how they were riase or child molstaion in past.

but parents need to talk to thier kids about it. little things about bad touch good touch when thir young and that it talks a male and female to make a babie and all the little things but as soon as they hit puberty they need to know it all

and the schools can help by giving kids the updates on  stds new protect if something can harm or help them and other thigns that parents might not have info on.

i think its funny that parent won't have the talk to thier childern about s*x but they will complain about having to much s*x on tv  when their is a V-chip and help because of parental control

i've noticed in the past few years the ages in which teens start to have s*x has gone down. in my opinion these kids that start to have s*x too early are those that do it to fit in, or to feel loved, or they want to prove their maturity. another key factor in them starting so early is this is when for many puberty starts and hormones are running high and they don't know the proper way to deal with these things. also there aren't many good role models left for pre-teens and teens these days, they have no one to look up to which in turn gives them no incintive to better themselves.
