  1. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.

There is so much corruption in the UN and world leaders already it truly will be the end "Armageddon" once the New World Order through the UN has dissolved all national sovereignty. They are all a bunch of crooks stealing billions that were intended for humanitarian aid and profiting from war when the UN was set up to be an institution of peace.

  2. It has done so much good already; or has it? We're all be working for eight dollars an hour if our short-sighted  population doesn't stop shopping at Wal-mart

  3. Apart from what the first guy said ,it would end up with an elite race or group living like Romans,

the rest of the world would be some highly paid slaves ,many unpaid ones ,more in prison

and most  would end up dead ,

Their Agenda demands a cut in the world population of 60 to 70 %  .

They declared this at a closed Bilderberg meeting ,already in 1998  in Copenhagen.

Unless you belong to the first group it is not such a nice idea

But those details are not in the sales talk given to Universities.

  4. Globalization is "law west of the Pecos" for international commerce.

Globalization destroys small businesses (now don't anyone counter me, just look what Wal-Mart has done to small town business districts!) and rapes local economies for the benefit of international / multinational corporations.  It is intended to do that!  It also makes economic prostitutes out of their much smaller employment base at the same time that it turns societies into consumer slaves, and it bankrupts local farmers so the mega-corporate farm can take over, which is now happening with ethanol.

There once were four or more shoe stores in every small town, dozens in every large city, where each specialized in certain kinds of shoes that the proprietors enjoyed selling and liked very much.  Even in a small town of 25,000, you could find a shoe store that sold nothing but athletic and sports shoes, another store that sold nothing but imported European shoes, another store that sold nothing but work boots and shoes, and another store that sold dress and casual US made shoes for around town.  That does not mean a few varieties, these stores had a large selection to choose from and if you specified a special shoe they did not have, they would either make it for you or they would order it for you!  At Wal-Mart, you buy what they want to sell you, not what you want to buy.  And Wal-Mart has only 40 employees while they put 120 small-shop employees in the unemployment line and their small-shop employers into bankruptcy or into a homeless shelter!  That is globalization for you, and yes, Wal-Mart is the largest retailer in the WORLD!  In other words, Wal-Mart, who put five manufacturers into bankruptcy (including Rubbermaid), sells the products made the cheapest from the most undeveloped worker nations in the world and sells them to us at not-always-the-cheapest prices, which destroys the local economy.  All of the profits from Wal-Mart go to the international corporation of Wal-Mart, all of the profits in the mom-and-pop store in town go to the local community.

There is Globalization, a conspiracy to lower the living wage and make every country compete with the poorest nations on earth where there is no OSHA and there are no health and unemployment benefits at a wage often of a few dollars per day!  In other words, globalizers want us all to be in poverty!

  5. It desturbs me.

...I wish I knew how to make my own clothes. But even If I buy fabric from a store, I'll still be supporting a business which imports from thirdworld countries.

...If I try to grow my own plants that are used to make fabric there are bi-laws so I can't grow them in the city. Plus I wouldn't have the land to grow the many plants it would take to make a t-shirt.

People that are trying to make there own fabrics, perhaps local farmers if any, are to busy trying to stay in business growing cash crops. They are dropping like flies and it's harder each years because of government regulations.

It seems that resistance is futile. Hail to the New World Order and thirdworld enslavement. It's scary.

  6. What you described is not Globalization, Globalization, as a term, is very often used to refer to economic globalization, that is integration of national economies into the international economy through trade, foreign direct investment, capital flows, migration, and spread of technology.  Perfect example of this is the European Union.  Have we seen any of this scenario that you just described who joined the Union? The answer is none.  Now, the European Union is an economic force to contend with and this is what globalization is all about.  Please see link I provided for further explanation
