Even though we lost, there was no better man to lose to then my beloved brisbane halfback- Peter wallace :D. Hes not so overrated now is he?

I thought the game was pretty good, i think nsw deserve to win. had some shocking kicks from thurston, and i dont think we(qld) ever really looked like winning we looked so unorganized and bunched up didnt really have a leader so i think lockyer will come back into the team and unfortunetly i think prince will miss out again.

Peter Wallace had a fantastic game last night and proved he'a a good origin player. The challenge for him now is to prove he's good enough to be dominate throughout the whole series. If he does that I feel the Blues will have a reliable no.7 in Wallace for a few years.

NSW definitely showed more urgency on defence. They didn't give away anything and i think that reflected the nature of our tries (more flukes then anything else). I heared a lot about this being a defining moment of thurstons career but he definitely didn't win my vote. I think billy slater is to small for origin football and hunt needs to be put back into his rightful Jersey.

he is great and hopefully will step up for more.don't you think the broncos will sign him if he does not have the talents.being coached by one the best coach in the nrl is also a bonus for wallace.he is playing great footy in the absence of lockyer.good on him.and that will shut up that idiot goose jamesaguilar.

I totally take back what i said about Wallace last week! His now a legend, played strong, done fine! I laughed at first because he was a Bronko, but originally was a Panther, if Craig Gower hadn't left Penrith in a mess, he would have stayed in Sydney.

I was going for QLD although i am a victorian. There were lot of melbourne storm players.

the end result was a bit of a shock but congrats to NSW.

I agree. How good was NSW? I'm a long-time blues supporter and the better team won. The were well disciplined, structured and organised. The fact that almost every QLD supporter boasted that their backline was the best ever, it made the victory even sweeter. QLD really missed Lockyer's influence and Price's charge downs, but what they have to do now is to replace Hunt with Prince. That pass from Cross was shocking though. I was also a bit disappointed when about 4 players didn't sing the national anthem with the others.

I thought it was a great game, for your side (QLD) and mine (NSW). But really  you's did not look like winning, even though Tate scored on the half-time buzzer, then Falou scored on the full time buzzer

Sorry to say NSW was the better team, and yes Peter Wallace had  terrific game!

Thurston was uselss should be dropped straight off for Scotty Prince.

All Billy Slater did was make one break and besides that we through the ball into touch about ten times. I would drop him, out karmichael back to fullback and hopefully locky will be fit for the next game so he can play along Prince.

QLD need to make some serious changes, i have always said it and will say it again take out Tate!! Falou and Inglis should be on opposite sides hunt at fullback (as good of a player slater is, there is no room for him) prince at 5/8th or maybe lockyer, but i think prince is better, lockyer has been playin ****. oh have any other winger besides tate! he may be fast but he cant jump, takle, or hit gaps!! also i dont think he is fast

Qld were great in defence with blokes like Karmichael Hunt (woo go Bronco boys) and Peter Wallace was playing excellent for the blues.

If only he played for Qld. :'(
