Your thoughts.....???

Do you think the government secretly believes in the paranormal? For e.g there was a certain project in America where they experimented with the idea of time travel to see if people could go in the future. There was also another experiment that they were working on where they toyed with the idea of making their naval ships invisible?

  1. Oh yeah, The Philadelphia Project/ Experiment.  It’s odd that you say that because the experiment was initially used to cloak ships at sea but what happened was a rift in the space time continuum occurred.  Rumour has it that they actually did make the ship disappear but upon its return the naval crew aboard were melted into the structure of the vessel.  Bodies were half inside walls and half outside walls… if you can picture that.  Hollywood made a movie about it titled The Philadelphia Project and used time travel as the bases for the film.  Apparently there was testimony from one seaman who was removed from the ship and arrived in a different time era.  So in answer to your question… yes, I think the government has been, and still is experimenting with projects of that nature.

  2. The government experiments with all kinds of stupid stuff.

  3. If you are familiar with the Bell Witch incident, it is actually a case of a ghost haunting that is actually recorded by the government and deemed as genuine.

  4. The government doesn't think or believe on it's own. There are people in the government who believe in the paranormal.I'm sure there have been tests and experiments. All as successful as those outside the government. In other words no findings no useful results.

Hopefully they're not wasting our tax dollars on paranormal nonsense.

There's already enough money being thrown down the government rat hole

  5. That would be cool but unlikely

  6. I know they had an experiment called "Remote veiwing" where they had people that could astral project into another country but they did it with their minds and find out what secret projects they were up to.

  7. Who do you mean when you say the "government"? It's made up of people..I'm sure some of them believe and some don't. I do believe that they're involved in some paranormal things and probably at least pay attention to some things that happen. I know that they deal in Remote Viewing. We have someone on Parapsychology , RViewer who used to work for the gov. doing that. There are videos to..esp.on Stumble Upon ..about the Philadelphia Experiment. Must have been something to it...whether it worked for real or not. Some people claim to have been on the ship and experienced time travel. IDK if it's true or not. I imagine they secretly have some psychics working with them. They also do dowsing in the military. RViewer knows about that too.I don't know if these things are "secret"..but I think they're kind of "undercover". I also think many of them are aware of space ships.

  8. They likely do, they try to respect the people (spirits) By seeing whatt would be in the furture, but by being hidden and nobody see's you, you would be a hidden missunderstanding. It's quite simple acctually. :)

  9. I bet they do and have.

  10. The U.S. government has toyed with paranormal activity in the past, but the results from such things as remote viewing have been proven inconclusive at best. The government has a responsibility to the taxpayer. They can't waste too much time and money on projects that fail to produce consistent results.

The government has considered many strange methods for accomplishing one task or another. For example, during WWII, "bat bombs" (actual live bats with tiny explosives glued on to their bellies) were nearly put into use against Japan.

Also, invisibility is a matter of light manipulation. There's nothing really paranormal about it. In fact, scientists have just discovered a new way to manipulate light beams. This new technology will most likely be used to increase the efficiency of fiber-optics. But in theory, it's one more step toward the development of an invisibility cloak.

Here is a good video on remote viewing: (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QY4MTKa2l... ). Notice how the viewers throw out as many vague guesses as they possibly can.

VALADENTMICH: Where do you see anything about the "Bell Witch" being confirmed as factual history by anyone (let alone the U.S. government)? The story is a legend. Even the author of the website you linked calls it a legend. Read the FAQs (http://www.bellwitch.org/faq.htm ). The guy running this website is telling a fictional story set in an historical setting.
