Your two favorite teams play in the SC Finals?

I have found that there are a lot of people here that have more than 1 team in the NHL they follow. Let's say they both play in the Stanley Cup Finals even if they are in the same conference. Who do you think would win and why. Also, who are the teams.

I like the Rangers and the Penguins. So this year I guess the Penguins would have won even though it wasn't the finals.

I have been following Detroit all season on FSN and Pittsburgh on VERSUS so when it came down to the SCF I was kinda split in half.

Detroit is always #1 with Pittsburgh in very close 2nd.. So Detroit will win the Cup cause I've been waiting for this for six year and I don't want any longer!!

I would like a Wings-Leafs finals now that they're not in the same division, but obviously the Wings would win that one this year if it happened

Well Sabres are always the favorite team in my eyes, no matter what.

I guess if I had to pick a second it would be the Wild.  

Hopefully the Sabres would win that one

Wings win the west. Toronto wins the East. Wings win the cup on home ice, game seven, overtime goal by some third or fourth liner nobody outside of Detroit has heard of (Hudler, Helm etc...) proving Detroits depth. Thats my idea of a perfect playoffs.

i like the stars and the caps and if the caps actaully have green, huet and fedorov then they can beat the stars or anybody for that matter

Hmm..If it were the Sharks and the Wings, It will never happen given their from the same conference. But, If it did happen, I think the Sharks would beat the wings.

the 08' wings and the 72'bruins. now there is a matchup. I think that the bruins would barley pull it out.

How can you have two favorite teams? You have your favorite and others that you like, but if your favorite played them, you pull for your favorite. No question asked.

My fave team is Buffalo, followed by NJ. Given the outcome of this season, I guess NJ would have been the winner, only because they obviously made playoffs this year and Buffalo didn't.

However, the previous season, Buffalo would have been the clear winner.

Essentially, I don't think the Sabres can rely on their goaltending anymore, whereas Brodeur is generally a knock out. However, when Buffalo gets going with the D and offense, they can be unstoppable. It would be a h**l of a series.

I would say the leafs and the penguins.that would be good if the leafs could make to the stanley cup finals. I think penguins would win.

I love the Red Wings and I casually follow the Lightning. It's pretty obvious who would win the match up if they met in the SC finals this year. Poor Tampa. :(

I have four teams....

Minnesota wild

Minnesota North Stars

Toronto maple leafs (SHUT UP! they were good when i grew up there! )

And since like 2 years ago i really stared liking the wings (i am not a banwagoner)

but my top team is Minnesota so i would root for MINNY

Well my two fav teams are in the west so they couldnt in the SCF, but they did meet in the WCF this year and Detroit won.

I have one favorite team.........Detroit.........the only other club that comes in a distant second is St Louis Blues.........
