Youth Allowence (HELP!)?

I am a year 10 student whos parent are together

when my friends (who's parents are divorced) turn 16 they all

got youth allowence (not child support)

does anybody know what this money they get is?and can i get it if my parents are still together? (fingers crossed)

  1. no... this is like a form of child support for you friends. that means it goes to them instead of the parents. You can not get it if your parents are together!!!


  2. NO NO...not at all da... it s  a form of supporting the child for you friends... they wil be credited to their parents... i dont think so u cannot get that....

    maybe if you did more research you would understand that when they hit 16 they are considered old enough to have responsibilities of thier own and that divorce money (child support) goes to them due to the fact that you see many parents that spend the money on themselves instead of what the kids need.
