Youth Volunteer Essay?

I want to volunteer at a hospital in my town, and I have to write a 100 word essay why I would like to be a volunteer.

What are some good things to include in my essay?

You should write about how you can be responsible and be relied on.

If you want to pursue a medical career, you could write that it would be an excellent experience for you.

Be Honest.

Make sure to include

1. What the volunteer position can do for you.

Include what it will do for you emotionally (make you feel good, a part of the community) and what skills you will learn.

2. What you can offer the position.

Include what skills you can bring and how you'd love to use those skills to help people.

3. And at the end you can say something like:

Thank you for taking the time to consider me for this volunteer position.  I sincerely look forward to hearing from you.
