Hello I'm interviewing for my city's youth council and I really wish to be a part of tis in order to represent my community like it should be. I'm very nervous so I am looking for any tips since this is only one of my first interviews so any help is appreciated. Thanks!

  1. Don't be nervous. Just be you.

First you say something about yourself, your age, education, interests...

Than you say something about your expectations, vision and goals, that you think you can achieve as a member of the youth council.

You should also say why you think you are the right person for the job - for example: you live there, you know what the needs are, you have the passion and determination to change things, you have communication skills to handle different people and institutions. You work well on your own as well as in groups....

Name couple of your ideas how you would address certain community problems.

You should be peaceful, confident with a touch of passion.

    Best of luck!
